Project Engineering
YKI has implemented and practiced IATF16949 quality management system since 2006. Projects developed and leaded by APQP teams, potential risks of failure during the launch and mass production can be greatly minimized by the well defined PPAP, Control Plan and FMEA. Integrated with the solid tooling and injection knowledge of engineers, YKI can satisfy customers'Â lead time and quality requirements.
Quality Control
Productivity and quality improvements are fundamental to achieving sustainable growth. Therefore, all departments undertake challenges in complying and enforcing the strictest ISO9001 & IATF16949 quality standards in each manufacturing process. Achieving goals and targets have become normal practice for YKI and our quality personnel consistently crosscheck product quality to ensure such goals and targets are achieved.
Production Management System
Empowered by Infor SyteLine, we implemented advanced planning & scheduling, manufacturing execution system, onsite Kanban, and real-time management dashboard to increase our efficiency.
Tooling Department
Fully staffed tooling engineering team uses the most up-to-date software combines with collaborative product & tooling design and engineering techniques, providing hassle-free solutions for client. YKI offers variety of materials for selection and all molds are built in high level of precision using the most advanced equipment.
Injection Molding
At YKI, plastic injection molding requires not only a dedication to producing the highest quality molds & parts, but also a commitment to each individual customer. Our Injection Molding department works very closely with product engineering team to provide the best fit machines and materials suitable for client's products.
We have over 70 injection molding machines with mold clamping force ranging from 50 to 1100 tons. Robots are also used in the injection molding process to stabilize and speed up total product cycle time.
Spray Painting & Secondary Processes
First introduced in 2004, our in-house dust free spray painting, hot stamping, pad printing, silk-screening and laser etching services provide expediency and shorten manufacturing lead times for YKI's valuable customers.
Assembly Facilities
Our assembly lines are all equipped with conveying belts, automatic screwing machines, ultrasonic welding, vibration welding, and etc. Clients whom require the strictest quality can take advantage of these assembly solutions.
